The inspirations you find here tell the story of past projects, custom-developed samples and interpretations of Venetian Terrazzo created in response to specific needs
They are not standard catalogue products nor solutions that can be replicated in series: they are traces of a creative and technical journey that takes shape differently each time. Colours, aggregate sizes, textures and patterns are defined together with clients to create bespoke surfaces designed for a specific and unique space.
TEXTURE
The decoration is inspired by a famous design created by Carlo Scarpa for the Olivetti store in Piazza San Marco, Venice.
PALLADIANA
A classic, yet brand new every time. The marble inlay, hand-cut following a random design.
CLAPS
The marble inlays are cut by hand or with a waterjet, measuring approximately 4–20 cm.
MOSAICO INCERTO
The marble pieces are hand-cut into squares or rectangles, with sizes ranging from 0.5 to 2 cm.
OPUS
Within a pattern of perfectly cut shapes arranged in an orderly design, the small mosaic tiles are set in a less regular pattern.
TERRAZZO LIBERO
Inspired by the flooring production of the early 19th century—simple and modest—the Venetian terrazzo remains modern today.
